Mountainview Condo in Granby, Colorado Weekly Rental
You will have a great time participating in the wonderful things and places to enjoy- Grand County Rocks!!!
Furnished and decorated with all of the comforts of home. Enjoy dining and cocktails on the deck which faces west for picturesque views and sunsets. After a winter's day of skiing or summer's day of biking or hiking and enjoying the great expanse of Grand County, there’s nothing like coming home to the crackling and scent of a wood fire. The upper floor has a full kitchen equipped with stainless appliances (all electric), microwave, service for 10, icemaker and open feeling to the dining room area with bar-height table to enhance the view of the outdoors. The living room has on open feeling with LCD wall mounted large screen TV, stereo component, cable, DVD, wireless internet WiFi and printer hookup, 2 leather couches and newer carpeting. The washer/dryer is full capacity, and there is a ˝ bath. The lower floor has full bath, and the master bedroom has a king bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress. The guest bedroom has a queen mattress, and both rooms are in black walnut furnishings with ample closet space, both rooms also with walk-out decks. There is a City Market and gas station (and a Starbucks!!) just down the road; you will find most anything you desire in this very well stocked grocer.
All of these activities below are within 20 minutes drive~
• Fraser does a great Rodeo every Saturday night (summer only) at High Country Stampede Rodeo in Fraser.
• There are four world-class golf courses surrounding Grand Elk Ranch. Across the street there is Grand Elk Ranch, where you will find the Grand Elk Golf Course. The Headwaters Golf Course at Granby Ranch / Sol Vista, and the Orvis Shorefox Golf Course. Also close by is the Pole Creek Golf Course and the Grand Lake Golf Course.
• Grand Lake is a beautiful place to visit. Have lunch in town or bring a picnic and relax outdoors. Check out Adams Falls- there are some short hikes in there. You can snowmobile in the winter and horseback ride in the summer.
• Rocky Mountain National Park has many trails and picnic spots and Trail Ridge Road through the park is absolutely not to be missed! View wildlife including elk, buffalo, and our other four-legged friends. Bring you bird book to help identify the great many species of our feathered friends.
• There is great fishing all over Grand County. Closer to Grand Lake you can rent boats to go out on Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and the majestic Grand Lake. Go into Byers Canyon for some awesome stream fishing and fly fishing on the Colorado River.
• Winter Park ski area is a great place to downhill ski. Very convenient to our unit is the Granby Ranch ski area behind our biulding. You can rent equipment and ski right there, ideal for families.
• Steambost Springs, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone are a not more than a couple of hours drive away.
• Devil’s Thumb is known for its cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
• In the summer, Winter Park is a great mountain bike spot. There is a bike trail right along 40 all through Winter Park. At Granby Ranch at the base of the ski lift there is a hiking trail that takes you up to the top where the lifts drops you off. On the weekends you can ride the lifts up for free and walk the trail down.
