Stu is a very kind and sweet guy. Very professional. Came to us on a Saturday with a very last minute request. Was able to meet us within 2 hours of a phone call to him, even though he had to drive 26 miles to get to us. Quick and painless when it came to notarizing our documents. How long have you been in business?
I have been in business for 33 years.
What is your primary product or service?
I am a Certified Mobile Signing Agent. I am commissioned by title and loan companies through out the United States, to meet with their clients and notarize loan documents. From a local stand point I act as a State Commissioned Notary Public to notarize documents such as Wills, Power of Attorney and any other documents which need to be notarized.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My business background is quite diverse. From technology to medical then to national organization management and directorship. I was also involved in law enforcement for a while.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I don't pay a lot of attention to other businesses in my category except through national and regional notary associations. I have a strong desire to help people and explain in plain English legal documents which otherwise might be confusing. Since my service is mobile, I make many visits to nursing homes and hospitals. I sometimes have to work with people during very difficult times in their lives. Because of my background and personality, I have the ability to put people at ease and make their experience more positive. I also hope to do something from a national prospective to enhance the notary public profession through further education and contributing to notary associations.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
As a mobile notary, I work from one location, however in time I may add other notaries in order to expand our company

Since we are a mobile agency, we meet with our clients at a location of their choosing.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept check. cash,Visa and MasterCard.
Which areas do you service?
We are Commissioned to service any area of the State of Missouri, however due to transportation costs we normally service St. Louis and the counties of St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, Washington and Franklin
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Certified Mobil Notary is a DBA company owned and operated by Stuart A. Schankman.
What are your hours of operation?
Our regular hours are 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM 7 days a week, However in emergency we operate 24/7.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
A smile on their faces as I leave.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Maintain Just Business Practices God sees every business transaction we make, and throughout Scripture He calls us to be honest and just. �Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure. Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the Lord your God . . .� (Leviticus 19:35�36).
