How long have you been in business?
We spent 5 months to research and develope our concept, security features and website design layout. We went live on January 23, 2008.
What is your primary product or service?
We are an electronic personal health record company. Our services are available to anyone. We seek to help caregivers, people with chronic medical issues or anyone who wants to maintain a healthy lifestyle and live independently for as long as possible.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
When my aunt had her heart attach in August of 2007, she was unable to communicate any of her medical information to the healthcare providers. Rushed into emergency open heart surgery the doctors knew nothing about her medications, allergies or prior medical conditions. As an RN for over 20 years, I understood the potential risks and complications she had to face. At the time, I thought, in this day and age of technology, why is there not a way for this vital information to be communicated to the doctors. I was insired to fix this problem. The concept of the ER-IDcard was born.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
As an RN, I have dedicated my life to caring for the sick and injured. I have worked in the emergency room and know how frustrating it is when critcal information is not available. I designed ER-IDcard to help our members organize, document and communicate important health-related information easily to any healthcare provider. I focused on 3 goals. Make it simple to use for both the members and healthcare providers. Make it secure and reliable. Make it affordable for everyone. I feel confident our goals were met.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we are setup to accept customers in the United States and Canada. We plan to expand to accept customers worldwide.

We are family owned. Randy Workman RN is President. Patrick Herron is Director of Operations. Rachele Taylor is Director of Customer Relations. We all share in the daily operations of the company.

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
