How long have you been in business?
Lexx Funding was founded in 1997. I was in the cash flow business several years before that.
What is your primary product or service?
Lexx supplies immediate working capital for small to medium sized businesses by advancing funds on credit worthy receivables. Our clients receive cash without debt.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We were first interested in buying mortgages.. Then we learned about factoring or accounts receivable (invoices) financing as a way of providing business owners the needed cash to maintain and grow their business. Business owners have to wait too long for their money to come in and they need that cash to pay payroll, supplies, go after new accounts. This was an exciting way to help small to medium sized business. We started in real estate. That lead to invoices.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
First, there are very few factors who fund on credit worthy invoices under $25,000. We can help a new company without a banking history, a business owner with little credit, or a company which doesn't have collateral because we rely on the credit of our client's customer. We discover the financial need of our client and propose a plan to solve their problem.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location in Wildwood, Missouri. We can handle clients almost anywhere in the world. If we cannot help the client, we will refer them to a suitable factoring company. We handle most industries internally. We broker out medical receivables.

We get our payments from our clients customers. Usually they come by check or ACH.

The company is an LLC. Joy Ann Venverloh, runs the daily operations.
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours are from 8AM to 5PM Central Standard time.

People tell me all of the time that they wouldn't have gotten a contract and been able to complete it on time and on budget without Lexx Funding. Also that Lexx Funding is the reason that they are still in business.
