The friendly folks at Pride Cleaning and Restoration are also specialists in cleaning CARPETS, UPHOLSTERY, BLINDS, AIR DUCTS, TILE and FLOORS, removing PET ODORS and SPOTS
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Pride Cleaning and Restoration was founded by Jim Seubert in 1987 as a small carpet cleaning, construction cleanup and janitorial business serving clients part time while Jim was serving in the United States Air Force at Scott Air Force Base. The original name of the company was JS Kwik Kleen. After a short time the business grew and a name change was in order to reflect the feeling that people experienced after having work done by the cleaning crews. It wasn’t necessary that the work was done quickly that the name represented, however it was more of a feeling that the employees were committed in their work and enjoyed what they were doing and really showed pride in their work efforts. So in 1989, the name PRIDE was born and has evolved over the years. Our focus has changed from carpet and furniture cleaning to providing full service Disaster Cleanuo and Restoration of homes and businesses that suffer damage from disasters of all kinds.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The PRIDE MISSION STATEMENT is ... To provide our clients with the utmost customer service experience possible while handling their cleaning and restoration projects with PRIDE. Pride Cleaning and Restoration exists solely because of, and for two groups of people: - our clients and our employees. All trucks, equipment, building, etc., are just “junk” without the above two groups. At Pride Cleaning and Restoration, Inc., service to our clients is a way of life, and an absolute obsession. Our primary, indeed, almost our only job, is to make absolutely positive sure our client has a warm, safe, secure happy feeling about PRIDE and the job we've performed. So we do whatever it takes, in terms of labor or work to please our clients. We have been serving the Saint Louis Bi-State Metro area with dedication since 1987, and plan on doing so for the next 20 odd years!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We are located near downtown South St. Louis, MO in the historic Soulard district on the corner of Lemp Ave. and Victor off of Gravois and Russel. We do have an staging location in Edwardsville, IL and hope to some day expand our services and service area to be able to better help more people overcome the devastating effects of disaster occurences.

The company owener and president is Jim Seubert, and our general manager, Andy Schatz, takes care of the day-to-day business operations.
