How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My first experience with documents was selling colored-coded paper-based filing systems for Tab Products. They developed the 3rd electronic filing system on the market in 1989. It was obvious that the market was heading in that direction, so when they sold off that division, I started Optitek (the name was formulated around optical discs)and we have seen amazing growth in document management ever since.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Our longevity and our willingness to develop in related markets such as cloud computing and/or image hosting, remittance processing, fee based processing, exception processing and other related fields that require an emphasis on business processes.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our main location is St. Louis with a sales office in Chicago.

Highway 40, South on Hanley Road, about 1/4 down Hanley directly across from Walmart. Turn right into our parking lot at the Walmart light (you would turn left to go into Walmart). Our entrance is at the back of the building. 2001 S. Hanley, Suite 250, Brentwood, MO 63144
