What is your primary product or service?
Full service lighting and electrical contractor providing energy efficient indoor and outdoor lighting systems management
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Lighting Service was started by Elmo Irwin in 1946. George Irwin, son of Elmo, took the company over in 1994 and hired sons Jeff and Greg to run the Marketing and Purchasing divisions respectively
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a full service, merit shop that has a reputation of providing quality products and services at modest prices since 1946.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we operate out of our home office in St. Louis. Additionally, we have a satelite location in Charleston, IL so help service the Eastern most point of our service territory, Indianapolis, IN

Lighting Service is located in Overland, MO. on Lotise Blvd. on the south side of Page Ave. about half the distance between I-170 and US 67/Lindbergh Blvd.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks and credit cards. Additionally, we encourage our customers to establish an account with our company, which eases payment options.
Which areas do you service?
Our service territory spans as far West as Columbia and Jefferson City, MO and as far East as Indianapolis, IN.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
George Irwin is the acting president
What are your hours of operation?
Service calls can be placed and routed at any time, however, our normal business hours are from 7:00am - 5:00pm
